Tavliro Privacy Policy

Tavliro is a restaurant table-service app for phones and tablets. It is made by Jovan Pavlovich ("we").

The short version

Tavliro works entirely on your device. It has no user accounts, no cloud service and no internet connection. We do not collect, receive, store or share any of your data. We cannot see your menu, your orders, your staff or your sales.

What the app stores on your device

To run your venue, the app keeps the following data in its own private storage on the device where it is installed:

• Your venue name and, if you add one, your logo.
• Your menu: categories, dishes, prices and VAT rates.
• Your tables and dining areas.
• Staff members you create: their names, roles and a hashed (unreadable) form of their PIN.
• Orders, payments, tips and daily totals.
• An activity log (who voided an item, reprinted a receipt, changed a setting, and when).
• Your settings, including the identity of a Bluetooth printer you paired.

This data never leaves the device unless you export it: the app can create a backup file that is encrypted with a password you choose and saved to a location you pick, and it can send tickets and receipts over Bluetooth to a printer you paired. Deleting the app deletes the data on that device.

Permissions

• Bluetooth (and, on Android 11 and older, Location, which Android requires for Bluetooth scanning): only to find and print to your receipt printer. The app never determines or stores your location.
• Files: only when you choose to export or restore a backup, import a menu from a spreadsheet, or pick a logo.

The app has no internet permission on Android and makes no network requests on iOS.

Analytics, advertising and third parties

None. Tavliro contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind.

Payments

Tavliro records how a bill was paid (cash or card) so your totals are right. It does not process payments and never handles card numbers.

Children

Tavliro is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you or your staff, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. All data is under your control on your device. If you have questions about this policy, contact hello@vexel.gr.

Changes

If a future version of Tavliro ever transmits data (for example an optional cloud backup), this policy will be updated first and the app will ask for your consent before enabling it.
