Tavliro Support

Tavliro is a table-service app for small restaurants, tavernas and cafés. It runs on one phone or tablet, works without internet, and can print kitchen tickets and receipts on a Bluetooth receipt printer.

Getting started

  1. Install the app and follow the setup: venue name, tables, how the kitchen receives orders, menu and your owner PIN.
  2. Save the recovery code the app shows you. It is the only way back in if you forget your PIN.
  3. Add your menu (type it, or import a CSV/Excel file with the columns Name, Category, Price, VAT %, Destination).
  4. Add your staff under Manage → Team. Each person signs in with their own 4-digit PIN.
  5. Optional: pair a printer under Manage → Settings & printers → Printer.

Printers

Tavliro prints to Bluetooth LE receipt printers that understand ESC/POS, 58 mm or 80 mm paper. Tested: POS-58H (58 mm). Greek text is printed as an image, so it looks right on printers that have no Greek font. Bluetooth Classic-only printers and label printers do not work.

If the first scan finds nothing: turn the printer on with paper loaded, keep it within two metres, allow the Bluetooth permission when asked, and scan again.

Backups

Your data lives only on your device. Under Manage → Backup & recovery you can export an encrypted backup file to your files, Drive or iCloud. Keep the backup password: it cannot be recovered. Restore the file on a new device from the same screen.

Forgot your PIN?

Owners and managers: tap Forgot PIN? on the sign-in screen and enter your recovery code. Waiters: ask a manager to set a new PIN under Manage → Team.
